I'm not sure how everyone set up the looting/rolling system in their groups, but this is what I found how most people do it.
Most of the guild members know and understand the looting system that most group uses... For those who do not know about how to loot and roll on items, please read this post and remember the rules... Knowing about the right way of looting does not just benefit yourself, but others in the group and your guildmates when you group with them.
If you are in a group with guild members, unless there are other agreements within your own group, it's a recommandation for all guild members to use this looting system on Uncommon(green), Rare(blue), Epic(purple).
Every time you join a group./party, please clearify the looting system BEFORE you actually start fighting, so everyone knows what to do when good things drop.
READ to see if the item is BoE or BoP BEFORE you roll
Need before Greed "N/G loot"
Terms:
N=Need
G=Greed
BoE=Bind on Equip
BoP=Bind on Pickup
Uncommon (green)
Please type N if you need the item to use on the character that you are currently on.
Please type G if you are going to sell/disenchant/give it to an alt/etc
If one or more people typed N, the Ns roll on the item, and the Gs pass the item.
If everyone typed G, then it is a free roll for everyone in the party.
Please wait for EVERYONE to type N or G first BEFORE you roll on anything!
Rare (blue)
BoE=N/G Loot (can be discussed within the group for Free Roll)
BoP=N/G Loot
Epic (purple)
BoE=Free Roll for everyone in the party, no need for N or G because epic worth a lot of money, and you don't see them drop very often.
