Hi - my name is Raien and I'm a Dire Bear
When in Dire Bear form I have around 5500 armor and with Frenzied Regeneration ability - I can heal usually 50% of my health in a combat. This means that I am pretty much impossible to take down by mobs - especially when I Stun (Bash) the mob for 5 sec then instant change into caster form and cast Regrowth and Rejuvination, then instant shapeshift back into bear ;D. I am lvl 53 Druid with 32 pnts in Feral (I also have 5 lvls Improved Mark - which is a must for all druids, and 5 lvl Nature's Focus).
I have found that every party needs another tank and healers are always welcomed into groups.
But soloing is where druids shine in my opinion with the following forms you are so versatile -
Bear (tank)
Caster (Roots, Arcane range dmg, Quick heals)
Cat (Stealth & able to travel at 130% move speed all the time with talent )
Travel form (instant cast with no waiting to mount-up and do not get de-mounted from stun)
Improved Mark of the Wild - best all around buff out there
I'm a herbalist which means a lot of the time I am collecting herbs in the middle of mob country. As a druid I eaither use Hibernation to put the beast to sleep for 30 sec, pick the flower and walk away, or I stealth past the mobs, wait for them to move, pick herb and then re-stealth. Its usually that easy! This makes picking herbs really efficient and profitable when you do not have to fight through mobs to get to the herbs.
Have I mentioned seal form - this is your best friend for stranglekelp - you can start south of Menthil and swim all the way to southren Arathi off the wetlands shore and collect 25 Stranglekelps (4gold) in 30 min - nummy!!!
Anyways - Feral druids rock in my opinion if you really like tanking or fighting with Dire Bear / Cat forms.
