This one is pretty useless since once you have the FP’s in both areas, you don’t need it, and rarely would travel through this gate anyway. But for the sake of completeness, here’s the chain.
1) Go to Searing Gorge, find and kill a 48 elite lizard named Margol the Rager, who is roughly at 71, 73. For those without map coordinates, that’s the SE corner of the map, in the hills near the outhouse.
2) You should get Margol’s Giant Horn from his body, which you then go turn in to Mountaineer Pebblebitty, a dwarf at the southern end of the Valley of Kings in Loch Modan. She’s hard to miss as she’s standing right next to the gate you’re trying to get a key for.
3) She tells you the horn is a fake and to go to Ironforge and speak with Curator Thorius in the Hall of Explorers. He then gives you a Proof of Deed.
4) Bring the Proof of Deed back to Pebblebitty and she will give you the Key to Searing Gorge! How exciting.
