Hey guys,
I am seeing a lot of people getting their accounts hacked into and their characters stripped and deleted lately.
You all need to read about this on the WOW site and forums to protect yourselves.
It is a virus/spyware program that gets installed onto your machine if you visit certain websites or download comprimised programs.
It sends all info about your computer, connection and logs whatever you type when opening programs (passwords and usernames.)
It might be a good idea to use the option of remembering your username when logging into wow every time so you do not have to type it in.
Anyways, stay away from websites you do not know are secure and make sure you have firewalls and run ativirus and spyware programs often.

Discovered a week ago, TSPY_BZUB.AE is the latest form of spyware being delivered via spam. Running on Microsoft Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, and Server 2003, it has a key logger designed to steal a user's personal information. The spyware may arrive as an attachment to spammed email messages. It may also arrive as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by a user when visiting malicious Web sites.
Upon execution, it drops a copy of itself in the Windows system folder using a random file name. It then creates a series of registry entries to ensure it automatically executes every time the user starts up their system.
Lastly, this particular piece of spyware creates a file called INFO.TXT to steal the following type of information from an infected machine:
Autocomplete information
Computer ID
Host name
IP address and gateway address
Operating system
Web sites visited, user names and passwords

If you do get hacked contact WOW right away and e-mail them or fax them the circumstances.
Also, if you want, let us know what happened so we can help you out getting back on track.
Stay safe.
