User Interface (UI) Set up

Few people were wondering what kind of User Interface that Trayus and I use for the game. We all know that there are many different UIs out there such as Cosmos.

For those who are interested in the specific kind of UI that we use for the game, I'm sorry to say that we use 3-4 different kinds, and we pull the UI program apart and only kept the parts that are useful to us. Therefore, our UI is a combination of many different ones, and I really can't tell you the "name" of the UI that we use. If you REALLY love the set up of our UI, we can try to make a zip file for whoever's interested... But there are plenty different UIs out there, I'm sure everyone's different.

Please note that when you first get a new UI, it can be very overwhelming, you have to sit down for a few mins to learn to use your UI, do not feel frustrated if something does not work the way you intended. There will be a buttons and things you can play with, have fun, and we are always around to help if you have problems.

id like to get this but first i have to get rid of Gypsy... Trayus has gotta help me out on it. i got that UI another time, but it was soo confusing and derricka didnt know how you set it up Tray. So hopefully you can help me set it up and move everything around. once you show me i can do it fine on my own with my other characters.

All you need to do is delete (or better, rename, in case you want to go back) the 'Interface' (or is it 'Interfaces'.. I'm at work, so I don't have WoW on this computer) directory inside the world of warcraft directory. That should instantly put you back to how the interface looks out of the box.

On my setup, right now I'm just using Cosmos, although I had/am going to re-add a few other little scripts to do some things such as say what trades use specific reagents.. prices for selling items to a vendor (so I know which to trash if my inv is full). After the last patch, Cosmos's updater was way overloaded (couldn't connect for hours) and the old 'update the version number' trick didn't work.

I also had one that added a little timer for when you got flagged PvP, would tick down the time until you were PvP disabled.

and you got al those options with just Cosmos, Ahandwee? if so im going to get that! it's hard for me not to play with a UI since ive experienced it already, tell me what cosmos gives.
