is it a good idea to learn to use swords? and how about training for armor? because i was thinking about heading to stormwind or iron forge to learn sword training, mabye armor if its worth it for a rogue, and hit the auction house, but if its not worth it to learn to use a sword or wear armor i can hang around darkshore for a while...

yes I think it's a great idea for rogues to learn swords... I've seen rogues with 1 dagger 1 sword... and Trayus's rogue uses 2 swords... (because I found 2 identical swords, so I think he just wants them to match) so yeah... learn swords.. it's not that expensive to learn anyway cheers

If you mean train in armor. There is no way to train in higher armor classes for rogue. Leather is the best they can use.
And about Swords, Please read about rogue fighting styles. If you plan to be a SS/Combo rogue then go with 2 swords. Daggers are only good for BS/Ambush rogues. Some rogues even use Maces. Just use what fits you. Humans get a boost to swords and mace skill +5 giving you higher crit higher damage and higher chance to hit.

yea i use maces with my rouge, and i have my agility at 130, i have a High CHR with them, but i dont use backstab or ambush, im a brute force rouge, my melee CR hit does about 150 dam, and if i use SS and get the Hit its like 250 dam, so train in everything, it took me till around lvl 25 before i found out what i liked
